The art of medicine in patient evaluation: multisystemic approach to symptom
Medicine is an art, which requires to evaluate various symptoms by utilizing different disciplines. Symptoms of the human body that given against particular situations, might also show up in the different system apart from the system that involves the pathology. Physicians can detect the underlying pathology by having detailed patient history and a good physical examination. In this review, some of the symptoms that are not specific to a particular disease but arise in the initial period of many diseases and which may sometimes be clues for diagnosis with further examinations are mentioned.
